Peat Substrate 250L Tray
Tray substrate is a ready-made peat mixture with a fine structure (0 - 5 mm), ideally suited for growing various young seedlings, cuttings, and for germinating seeds in trays and cassettes.<br>The fine structure of the substrate can be used in pot-planting machines (e.g. paper pots).<br>The main component of the substrate is crushed block peat fraction 0 - 5 mm (70%) and black peat (30%). The substrate has a low fertilizer content – 0.5 kg PG-Mix 14:16:18 /m<sup>3</sup> of substrate. In addition to the base fertilizer, a micro fertilizer has also been added to the substrate. Light peat ensures good water absorption and aeration of the substrate.<br>Limestone flour is used to adjust the substrate's pH level. The tray substrate has a medium acidity – pH (CaCl<sub>2</sub>) 5.5 - 6.0.<br>To improve the water absorption capacity of the substrate, a (hygroscopic) special chemical compound that improves water absorption, Instants-Aqua Flow (wetting agent), has been added to the substrate.
