Primer Betoncontact CT19 1kg

Ceresit primer for non-absorbent surfaces CT 19 Betoncontact is a professional bonding layer designed for treating both absorbent and non-absorbent substrates before applying levelling mortars, tile adhesives, plaster and filler. This primer stands out for its ability to provide excellent adhesion even on challenging and smooth surfaces, such as ceramic tiles, OSB boards or existing paint coatings. CT 19 forms a rough, textured layer that significantly increases the adhesion of subsequent materials and prevents layer separation, ensuring a secure and high-quality finish.

The product is solvent-free, thixotropic and does not drip from vertical surfaces, making it suitable for use on both walls and floors. It is suitable for use both indoors and outdoors on many mineral substrates, including concrete, cement and gypsum plasters, floor levelling compounds, gypsum fibre boards and other materials. CT 19 is also compatible with heated floors, making it a versatile solution for both professionals and home renovation projects.

Substrate preparation is essential, as the surface must be dry, stable and free from dust, grease and other adhesion-reducing materials. On smooth and dense substrates, such as tiles or painted surfaces, mechanical sanding is recommended, followed by applying a uniform, thin coat of CT 19. Drying time is approximately 2 hours, however in some cases, such as on anhydrite substrates or non-absorbent surfaces beneath self-levelling compounds, approximately 24 hours are required. The product is ready to use and does not need to be diluted.
Technical data:

Base - aqueous dispersion of synthetic resins with mineral fillers

Colour light blue

Density approx. 1.5 kg/dm³

Application temperature +5 to +25 °C

Drying time approx. 2 hours

Drying time for anhydrite substrates approx. 24 hours

Consumption 0.1 to 0.4 kg/m² depending on the substrate

VOC content max 7.0 g/l

Packaging 1 kg
