Waterproofing Fibergum 1.3kg
<p>Kiilto Fibergum 1.3 kg is a ready-to-use, fibre-reinforced single-component waterproofing membrane intended for use under wall and floor tiles in bathrooms, saunas, and similar wet areas. Not suitable for areas permanently submerged in water (e.g. swimming pools), or areas exposed to temperatures exceeding 60 °C (e.g. sauna steam room walls). The substrate must be dry, absorbent, dust-free, and even. Any materials that could reduce adhesion, such as cement laitance, must be removed. Underfloor heating systems should be embedded in concrete or a floor levelling compound beneath the waterproofing membrane, not in direct contact with the membrane. Kiilto Fibergum has been tested and approved as compatible with the most common types of floor drains. Check compatibility by consulting our technical service or the relevant floor drain supplier.</p><p>Application:<br>Concrete, masonry, cement-based levelling compounds, and construction boards intended for wet areas.</p><p>Consumption:<br>Floors: at least 0.8 l/m² (2 coats)<br>Walls: at least 0.6 l/m² (2 coats)</p>
