Ceiling Paint BINDO 2 2.5L Completely Matte

Strongly matte, completely white and thick emulsion ceiling paint Bindo 2 creates a flawless surface finish. The uniform consistency of the formula ensures easy paint application and allows you to achieve an evenly smooth surface without visible roller marks. The paint is characterized by a mild odor and very low VOC (volatile organic compound) content. The Nordic ecolabel "Nordic Swan" certifies compliance with strict environmental standards. The paint is intended for painting ceilings in residential and public spaces. Suitable for new and previously painted plaster, concrete and filled, as well as plasterboard surfaces.
Properties:

Sheen - strongly matte

Coverage 10 - 12 m²/l

Drying time - dust-dry after 1 h, next coat can be applied after 2 h

Required coats 2

Does not leave visible roller marks

Easy to apply and dries quickly

Nordic ecolabel "Nordic Swan"

Volume 2.5 l

Application:
The substrate must be dry, clean, free of grease and dust. If necessary, wash the surface with lukewarm water, and for very dirty surfaces use a suitable detergent. After using the detergent, rinse the surface with clean water. Old peeling paint and poorly bonded top layers must be removed down to a firm base. To improve adhesion, a surface previously painted with oil or alkyd paint should be sanded with sandpaper. Cracks and unevenness in the substrate should be filled with a suitable filler from the Sadolin product range. The surface should be smoothly sanded and cleaned of dust. Porous surfaces, e.g. filled or previously unpainted plaster, concrete and brick surfaces, as well as plasterboard, should be primed with Grund primer. Previously untreated fibreboard and particle board surfaces and surfaces of varying porosity (e.g. partially filled) should be primed with Super Grund primer.

Before use, stir the paint thoroughly. Apply 2 coats of paint to the surface with a roller, brush or sprayer, allowing the surface to dry completely between coats. The previous coat of paint must be completely dry before applying the next coat. Large surfaces should be painted without interruption; breaks are only permissible at corners.

When painting, ensure that the roller always has sufficient paint. Apply the paint generously so that the painted surface retains moisture longer, as this will make it easier to even out. Ceilings should be painted in the direction of incoming light, i.e. the leveling strokes should be made from the window side. During painting, the air and surface temperature should be between +10 and +25°C (recommended +18±2°C), and the relative humidity 40–80% (recommended 65%). If the temperature is higher or lower than recommended, or if there is a draught, a poor-quality paint film may form.

The paint is ready to use and does not need to be thinned. Thinning the paint or applying it in a thinner coat than recommended may impair the product's properties.

Under normal conditions, the paint film fully hardens within 4 weeks after painting, so the surface must not be washed or cleaned until the specified time has passed. After 4 weeks, the surface becomes resistant to cleaning. Dirty painted surfaces should be cleaned with lukewarm, clean water; if necessary, a neutral (pH 6–7) cleaning agent may be used. Cleaning agents containing organic solvents (e.g. alcohol) are not suitable. Use a damp cloth or soft sponge to clean the surface. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, rough sponges or hard brushes. After using the detergent, rinse the surface with clean water.
