<p>Knauf Tiefengrund is a ready-to-use, universal deep-penetrating primer designed for priming various absorbent surfaces, improving adhesion and stability, as well as equalizing the substrate's absorption capacity. Tiefengrund is used for priming walls, ceilings, and floors before filling, leveling, tiling, painting, or wallpapering. Particularly suitable for consolidating damaged or chalky surfaces, such as preparing sanded gypsum floors. Before priming, loose particles and detached layers must be removed from the substrate. Tiefengrund should be applied undiluted with a roller, brush, or broom, avoiding the formation of puddles. For highly absorbent surfaces, repeated priming is recommended. After priming, further work may only be carried out once the primer has fully dried, which takes at least 3 hours.</p>
