Mizu Mulch Medium 7-30mm 50L

100% organic product for mulching plants and undergrowth, as well as flower gardens, rock gardens, landscaping and environmental decoration. After grinding pine bark, approximately 10% of the grind consists of these decorative, fragrant pieces of pine bark. When sorting the mulch grind, great attention is paid to ensuring that the fractions are completely separated, and that smaller bark fragments do not end up in the medium mulch bags.

This is the most versatile fraction. Medium grind mulch is both aesthetically appealing — consisting of individual, easily visible golden-brown bark pieces without any chip admixture — and effective: it covers the soil densely thanks to the small size of the mulch pieces, which allows them to settle closely together, retains moisture and temperature in the soil well, and decomposes more easily than coarse grind mulch. This type of mulch can be used for plants of any size and is perfectly suited for use in perennial plantings. Mulch is applied in a layer of at least 5–7 cm thick and topped up by approximately 1 cm each year, as the mulch gradually decomposes, thereby enriching the soil with humus.

Mulch is used to stimulate microbial activity in the soil, reduce soil erosion caused by falling water droplets, protect plants from the adverse effects of water droplets, reduce moisture evaporation from the soil and protect it from overheating. To protect plants from the spread of diseases and to avoid creating a favorable environment for the proliferation of plant pests. It also protects plants from frost, controls the spread of weeds and stops their growth, beautifies the surrounding environment, releases a pleasant pine fragrance, and saves costs and time in plant maintenance. If the goal of mulching is not only to improve soil quality but also to maintain long-term attractiveness, a base layer (organic geotextile, black agricultural film) should be laid under the mulch to prevent the settling of the top mulch layer.

Mulch fraction 7 - 30 mm.
