Primer-Enamel Proteksol 50 0.9L for Metal Grey

<p>Fast-drying anti-corrosion primer-enamel PROTEKSOL 50 based on modified alkyd polymer, designed for painting steel surfaces in interior and exterior applications. Forms a hard semi-gloss coating with high abrasion resistance. (Dry film thickness 50 - 70 μm)</li><li>Volume 0.90 l</li><li>Colour grey</li></ul><u>Application:</u><p>Before use, mix the primer-enamel thoroughly. If necessary, thin to working viscosity with white spirit or solvent VAITSOL: 0 - 5% – when applying by roller or brush. Application of the primer-enamel by spraying method is permitted only in painting areas of industrial plants and workshops. The same solvents are also used for cleaning work tools. The temperature of the air and the surface to be painted must be between +5ºC and +35ºC. Air humidity not exceeding 85%. Steel surfaces must be cleaned of dirt, corrosion products (rust) and degreased before applying the primer-enamel. In cases where complete removal of corrosion products is not possible, it is necessary, at a minimum, to remove the loose rust layer and carry out the maximum possible surface treatment with abrasive tools such as sandpaper, steel brush, grinding tools, etc. In this case, a possible reduction in the effectiveness of anti-corrosion protection must be taken into account. Apply the primer-enamel on clean and dry surfaces in 2 coats using a brush, roller, spray gun or airless spraying equipment (with nozzle diameter 0.011″-0.017″). Drying time of each coat at +20°C is 10 hours (at +10°C is 14 hours). Recommended dry film thickness per coat is 50 - 70 μm. Store in a tightly closed container, avoiding direct sunlight.</p>
