<p>Knauf Putzgrund Fassade is a base coat primer designed for surface preparation before applying decorative facade plaster. It strengthens the surface, improves adhesion and equalizes the absorbency of the substrate. The primer is used as a preparatory layer under mineral, acrylic, silicone, silicate and siloxane plasters, as well as for mosaic application. Before applying the primer, the surface must be carefully prepared – stable coatings should be roughened, and non-water-resistant coatings should be removed. Knauf Putzgrund Fassade should be applied evenly with a brush, soft broom or roller, avoiding runs. If the substrate is highly absorbent, the primer should be diluted with up to 10% water. After complete drying (at least 12 hours), plaster application can begin.</p>
