Wash dirty and greasy surfaces with Special Clean detergent, rinse with water and allow to dry. Wash mouldy surfaces with Tikkurila Homeenpoisto solution according to instructions, rinse with water and allow to dry. Remove any peeling paint from previously painted wooden surfaces with a scraper and wipe the surface clean with a wire brush. Treat surfaces previously painted with acrylic paints with Villa Akva in 1 - 2 coats depending on the condition of the surface and colour differences. If the old surface is worn or painted with oil paints, prime the old paint surface with Villa Primer and the old acrylic paint surface with Villa Akva. Paint the surface with Villa Akva paint. Pay particular attention to the ends and edges of the wooden product.

Industrially primed surfaces:
Apply Villa Akva in 1 - 2 coats. Industrially primed surfaces that have been exposed to weathering for more than 10 months must be treated with Villa Primer and repainted with Villa Akva in 1 - 2 coats. Pay particular attention to the ends and edges of the wooden product.
Application:
Before use, stir the paint thoroughly and, if necessary, thin with water. Apply with a brush or high-pressure sprayer. Treat the ends of the product carefully. To avoid colour differences, mix a sufficient amount of paint for the entire surface in one container. Caution! To protect from product splashes, plants and surfaces not intended for treatment must be covered. Wood contains resins and other colouring secretions, especially at knot areas. Under the influence of moisture and temperature, these may cause yellowing or resin seeping through the painted surface. The use of a primer (Villa Primer) reduces resin seeping through the paint film.
