The nozzle should be cut at a 45° angle to create a sufficient opening for dispensing. Insert the cartridge with the applicator into the gun and fill the applicator with sealant by pressing the gun trigger several times. Apply the sealant into the joint by repeatedly and evenly pressing the gun trigger while smoothly drawing the applicator along the joint. After applying the sealant, smooth it out, remove excess sealant and level the surface with a suitable tool.</p><u>Recommendations</u>:<ul><li>Surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free of dust, dirt and old sealant residue</li><li>If necessary, cover adjacent surfaces with masking tape</li><li>For wide joints, use a backing rod to ensure proper joint density and shape</li><li>Ensure adequate ventilation in the work area</li><li>During curing, make sure the sealed surfaces remain clean and are not subjected to mechanical stress</li><li>As building materials vary greatly, we recommend performing a prior compatibility test</li><li>Uncured product can be removed with PENOSIL Premium Cleaning Wipes wet wipes</li><li>Cannot be used on bitumen or materials that may release oils, plasticisers or solvents (e.g. natural or synthetic rubber, chloroprene, EPDM or flexible PVC)</li><li>Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE (Teflon®) or plexiglass (PMMA)</li><li>Do not use at temperatures below +5°C</li><li>Not recommended for metal or natural stone surfaces, e.g. marble and granite</li><li>Not suitable for sealing aquariums or underwater joints</li><li>Cannot be used as mirror adhesive</li><li>Cannot be painted over</li></ul>
