Large unevenness or substrate damage should be filled with a gypsum filler, such as Uniflott, Fugenfuller or Q Filler. Highly absorbent or unstable substrates should be primed with Tiefengrund deep primer. Gypsum board surfaces can only be filled if it is ensured that the board surfaces will not be affected by significant deformation as a result of temperature and humidity fluctuations. It is not necessary to prime gypsum board surfaces, but we recommend doing so with Tiefengrund deep primer.</p><p>The filler compound must be thoroughly stirred before use. If necessary, water may be added, but no more than 1 litre per 20 kg pail. Water should be added in small amounts, stirring each time and checking that the material is at the required consistency. Only clean tools and containers should be used. This filler compound can be applied by hand, with a paint roller or with a PFT SWING AIRLESS airless sprayer or equivalent. The filler is intended for thicknesses up to 2 mm. The next coat may be applied once the previous coat is fully dry. Sanding is recommended within the first three days after the surface has dried. Drying time depends on ambient conditions and layer thickness. A 2 mm layer thickness dries in approx. 24 hours, thin layers in approx. 3 - 4 hours. After sanding, the surface can be primed with Tiefengrund deep primer and such a surface can be painted with any standard paint. During application and drying of the filler, the room temperature must be at least +10 °C.</p>
